Hawkins Special

from Mary Warner

1 pound hamburger

1 large onion, diced

Salt and Pepper

3-8 carrots diced

3 celery stalks

1 ½ c shell macaroni

White sauce:

2 T butter

2 T flour

1 c milk

¼ tsp salt


Brown hamburger, onion, salt, pepper. Boil celery, carrots and macaroni until tender. Combine meat, veggies and pasta and stir in white sauce.
