Beef Stroganoff

from Mary Warner

½ c minced onion

¼ c butter

1 pound ground beef

4 T. flour

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

1—8 oz can mushrooms

1 c sour cream

2 cans of cream of mushroom soup

Saute onion in butter over medium heat. Add meat and brown. Add flour, salt, pepper and mushrooms. Cook 5 minutes. Add soup and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes. Stir in sour cream. Heat thoroughly. Serve with noodles.
